Jude's 4th Birthday Party

I threw Jude a party on a Friday afternoon 1-3pm sans sisters and husband. 4 friends and their mamas came.

At the very last minute I decided to take advantage of the GLORIOUSLY beautiful weather we were having and ordered a huge bounce house and we partied outside. 

The party animals. Jude, Margaret, Devin and Dan. Dezi came late.

It took him many tries to get the candles blown out.

 

 

We played "place megazord's emblem on his belt" with a scarf covering their eyes.

 

Jude wanted to have a sword fight with his friends. That lasted 27 seconds and ended with a hit in the face and tears.  Everyone took home a sword...

....and a book.  I highly recommend ordering books from scholastic as party favors. These were $2 and great quality.

Jude, you bring us so much joy.  We are thankful to have a boy in this house and we love you and all your boy noises!  You are such a mature 4 year old, definitely my third child.  You love playing games involving killing zombies, you have been riding a bike with no training wheels for 6 months and you love going to school and childcare at the grocery store!
