Ainsley on the courts

Ainsley is enjoying basketball.

She is playing with Upwards, a Christian league that has devotions at practice and encourages scripture memorization each week.

The games are really funny to watch. There's lots of "turn around, go this way" calls by parents and the very forgiving refs.

Last week Ainsley asked me: Mom, is a-s-s a bad word?
I had to try really hard not to laugh.
I explained that it is a bad word and why and how important it was to not use it at home or at school, etc.
And then Lance pipes in with "It's in the Bible". Thanks. Thank you very much for adding to the confusion!
She learned a-s-s from a school mate that is known to be a trouble maker. Sigh.
