Well, actually, it is not a lazy summer here but I haven't been on the computer much so my posts are scarce. I'm trying to be on the 'puter less and focus on other things so you'll likely see more pictures, less text.
we are off to the beach next week and that is my favorite time of the year for picture taking. we hope to get down to NC early august as long as dad is feeling up for it. dates are not set.
Lance has started working on a new (to him) project at PARC. He's not super excited about it, but it's a paycheck.
This weekend we focused on 2 tasks-getting new tires on the van and powerwashing the house. it looks great! but it took the whole weekend to accomplish 2 tasks. such is life right now. lance is trying to finish up odd jobs around our house...projects that were started and never finished b/c another baby came along. A new project just surfaced tonight. when i was on the phone w/ my parents a rat came onto our deck and looked in the sliding glass door. disgusting. sometimes i really hate where we live.my kids are in our backyard all the time!!! we think more and more about renting out our home and making the big move to NC but there are lots and lots of things to accomplish before we can make those plans. we don't even know where we'd relocate to at this point. it's way harder to choose a place to live instead of having it chosen for you by your job.
Ainsley is trying to teach herself cursive writing. she is determined.
Sage is really turning into a fish at the pool and enjoying swimming much more. the girls are in swim lessons and loving it and really benefiting from the lessons. ains is learning free-style and sage has finally put her face in the water and can blow bubbles. she was thrilled b/c she won the game tonight...i guess the kids had to answer questions about pool safety and she got the most right.
Jude zooms all over on his big wheel and goes really fast! his language is exploding and he's cut 2 more teeth (canines). some things he's saying: "what dis" and "what dat" are all day long. "I want help" "Ains did dis" He calls Ainsley, Ains or ainsley and always calls Sage "sister". funny. He continues to love his pacifiers and always requests 1 for his mouth and 1 to hold. He's used 4 word sentences recently but I can't recall them now b/c it is late....He also insists on buckling the booster by himself and does this time and time again.
until next time...
