Team Hurricane and Birthday Celebration with Friends.

Ainsley and Sage are both playing soccer this spring. Today was their first practice followed up immediately by their first game. Talk about convenient!  They are on the Hurricanes and loved every minute of being on the field.

 

We got home from soccer, ate some lunch and Ainsley's friends began to arrive for the her 9th birthday celebration!  Zoey, Eliza, Ainsley and Laura.

We took the girls on a Ducky Tour around Pittsburgh. It was super fun. They laughed a ton and no one complained about the rain.  We started off touring the city and then the car/boat took us right into the river!

We then hit Hard Rock Cafe for dinner.

Many people were celebrating birthdays today and Ainsley enjoyed being front and center for her birthday congratulations. 



Sweet. It was very interesting to get to watch Ainsley interact with her peers. I don't get to see her often with a group of friends and they do a lot of giggling.  I like this age.  And I like the friends that she has picked thus far.



When the car/boat was getting ready to go into the water, Sage surprised me with her enthusiasm.  She said something to Ainsley like, "Aren't you so glad you picked this super fun party?".  She thought it was the best thing ever. She could not wait to experience the vehicle going from land to water.

 

Mr. Jude did as well as he possibly could....especially for being up at 5:30 this morning and having a non-stop day.
