NO CYSTIC FIBROSIS!

Here is the update I just sent to our church's prayer chain:
It has been a busy week for us with 7 medical appointments of some sort but we are greatly encouraged. On Tues. we met with a pumonologist who sent us for lots of testing to try to figure out what is going on with Sage and why she is sick so frequently. He does not seem to agree with her current diagnoses and dramatically reduced her asthma medications! That same day she had a scan done of her sinuses which are completely impacted. She's now on antibiotic for a month for that. She also had bloodwork done to look at her immune system. We don't have those results back yet. Today was a big day. She had a sweat test done and we have ruled OUT cystic fibrosis... Praise the Lord!. Lance and I did not really think she had CF but when 2 different doctors ask about it in 1 week you start to second guess yourself. Tomorrow she will have allergy testing done. Next week I hope for NO more appointments! Of course when it rains it pours when you have 3 children. Ainsley has had a cold and tonight Jude started with a fever, coughing and some wheezing so I'll likely go from the allergist to the pediatrician tomorrow. Yesterday the van had a flat tire. It's a bit comical in a crazy sort of way.

Please continue to pray for wisdom for the doctor and for us as her parents. Sage is doing really well. Please pray for Jude (5 mos). Wheezing makes me anxious given Sage's history. When he had RSV at 3 months he wheezed for many weeks after.
